Dr. Williams is a 1987 graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors. He completed his training in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, and subsequently served as chief resident. Dr. Williams took his subspecialty training in cardiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, specializing in the care of congestive heart failure and cardiac transplantation. In 1994, he was appointed instructor in medicine at Johns Hopkins University and served as a Howard Hughes research fellow under Nobel Laureate Dr. Daniel Nathans. In 1995, Dr. Williams was recruited to Northwestern University in Chicago as assistant professor of medicine to develop a congestive heart failure program at Evanston Northwestern Hospital. He subsequently developed one of the nation’s first and most successful provider programs for disease management and oversaw this program until 2003. During his tenure, he was actively involved in numerous clinical trials and served as principle investigator on several clinical outcomes evaluations of various disease management interventions.

In 1997, Dr. Williams was appointed to the Evanston Northwestern Medical Group Executive Committee, and oversaw the group’s IPA as Chairman of Care Management. In this role, he developed and oversaw the group’s care management department, providing quality and cost control programs for over 80,000 full risk and 40,000 partial risk lives. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology Medical Directors Institute and currently serves on the Disease Management Task Force, which advocates for quality standards and reimbursement methods for chronic coordinated care. He holds an appointment as assistant professor at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and has performed research and published extensively on topics related to chronic disease and congestive heart failure outcomes. He is currently practicing cardiology with Midwest Heart Specialists, the largest single specialty cardiology group in Northern Illinois. Additionally, he is the president of The Williams Heart Foundation, an endowed medical research foundation.

As Executive Vice President Sales for Pharos Innovations, Kelly Keegan draws on his executive experience and consistent record of leading sales, account management, and marketing organizations to generate revenue, exceed goals, and expand market share. Mr. Keegan is responsible for all revenue growth and strategic business partnership development for Pharos Innovations while leading the sales and marketing divisions. | More >

Mr. Keegan has over 15 years of leadership and management experience in various healthcare markets, including ten years in executive leadership. Mr. Keegan has a diverse background marketing orthopedic medical devices, diagnostic woman’s healthcare solutions, healthcare technology solutions, population health management solutions, and care coordinated remote patient monitoring programs, into complex healthcare environments. He has recently held executive sales and client relations positions with Care Guide and Healthways. He earned his B.S. in Communications/Business Administration from Illinois State University.
- Garett Skiba, CPA, Vice President of Finance
Garett Skiba is responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for Pharos Innovations. This includes the preparation of GAAP financial statements and managing the cash flow and working capital of the business. Additionally, Mr Skiba involved with contract negotiations, pricing and the data analysis of patient outcomes. | More >

Mr. Skiba has 8 years of public accounting and healthcare finance experience. He started his career at KPMG in their transaction services group performing due diligence for private equity groups. More recently, Garett was a Director at Bridge Finance Group LLC where he focused on the originating, structuring and closing of senior secured and mezzanine debt, focusing primarily on leverage lending to the healthcare and services sector. Garett completed his M.B.A at the University of Chicago, and also holds B.A. and M.S. of accounting degrees from the University of Notre Dame.

Mr. Carlton supervised Employer Relations Specialists located at hospitals across the nation as they work to build relationships with local employers. He also served as an Account Executive for Healthways Inc., a provider of comprehensive solutions for insurers, providers and employers to help patients manage and improve their health. Mr. Carlton was also an Account Manager at Johnson & Johnson. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Morehead State University.
- Karen Paradiso, Vice President of Client Services
Ms. Karen Paradiso is responsible for implementing Pharos disease management programs for all clients, including payers, governmental programs, and providers. This includes product and client support, development and implementation, data analysis and account optimization. | More >

Ms. Paradiso has 29 years of healthcare experience, including 15 years as a practicing intensive care nurse. She has a background in disease management ranging from quality assurance to program development. She has been with Pharos Innovations for the past 7 years in positions of increasing responsibility for clinical operations and account relationships. Ms. Paradiso received a BSN from Marquette University and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau.
- Chris Calhoun, Vice President & Chief Information Officer
Mr. Calhoun leads Pharos Innovations’ technology group to drive and execute all aspects of the company’s software development and IT requirements. This includes management, infrastructure, technology, innovation and policies and procedures, with a core focus on product innovation, scalability, process and efficiencies and speed to market. | More >

Mr. Calhoun has over 15 years experience in software development, 10 years in the healthcare market. In recent years he has managed the growth and development of several large-scale applications in healthcare including Patient Compass, a paper statement and web-based online patient billing application, which he started back in 2000 with HealthCom Partners, and was later acquired by McKesson in 2006. Mr. Calhoun managed all aspects of the growth and development of the application, which today hosts around 300 providers and provides online services for around 400,000 patients and millions of mailed statements. Mr. Calhoun has an extensive background in the software development lifecycle, product and project management, scalability, agile development and has worked closely with both large physician groups and hospitals as well as smaller ambulatory and physician practices. Prior to entering the healthcare market, Mr. Calhoun had managed custom web-based application development and integrated voice response (IVR) in the higher education and several other markets. Mr. Calhoun received his BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dayton.
