Randall Williams, MD

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Williams is the founding Chief Executive Officer of Pharos Innovations. He is responsible for setting the vision and overseeing the execution of Pharos’ mission to transform healthcare through patient engagement in self-care. He has 16 years of executive experience developing chronic care monitoring programs.

Dr. Williams graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Williams specialized in cardiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, with an emphasis on the care of congestive heart failure and cardiac transplantation. In 1995, Dr. Williams was recruited to Northwestern University in Chicago to develop their congestive heart failure program. There he created and developed one of the nation’s first and most successful chronic care programs. He served as Chairman of Care Management for the IPA overseeing the development of the group’s care management department, with responsibility for over 120,000 at-risk lives. Currently, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Board for the Care Continuum Alliance, where he chairs the Governmental Affairs Committee. He is an author and frequent speaker on topics related to population health, physician leadership, and healthcare transformation.

Jim Evans

Executive Vice President, Business and Client Development

Jim Evans brings twenty years of leadership experience to Pharos Innovations and is responsible for customer acquisition and retention, revenue growth and market channel expansion opportunities.

Mr. Evans healthcare expertise spans healthcare analytics, network management and reimbursement strategy. Prior to joining Pharos, he served as CEO of Socrates Analytics, a cost management solution developed for surgical efficiency and effectiveness. Mr. Evans spent seven years developing businesses in healthcare information technology for payer and provider markets with McKesson Health Solutions. He also provided marketing and business strategy for over a dozen Global 1000 companies over four continents with Cerenti Marketing Group and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Mr. Evans served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. He graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from The George Washington University and earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Sue Brown

Vice President, Clinical Operations & Quality

Ms. Brown is responsible for the operations of the Pharos Engagement team and the Quality Management program. She directs and implements the training, staffing, education and policies of her team. Ms. Brown is also responsible for all quality management/improvement activities including performance management and compliance. She is constantly working to ensure customer satisfaction with results-oriented outcomes.

Prior to Pharos Innovations, she served as Vice President of Clinical Operations for Health Contact Partners, a subsidiary of the Trustmark Company. In this position she was responsible for the development, implementation and management of the 24/7 NurseLine and Advocacy services for a multitude of healthcare clients. She also supported the product development and sales process. She has extensive experience in clinical and hospital administration.

Ms. Brown earned her BS in Nursing from Barat College in Lake Forest, IL. She brings her extensive career in Clinical and Administrative Management, including staff development, quality and process improvement to support growth initiatives at Pharos.
